Christianity steady, but church-goers drop…
9 out of 10 Americans who identify with a religion identify with some form of Christianity… according to a new gallop poll. But church goers have fluctuated since the 70s (down 5-8%).
mmm. What morals and values came to fruition in the late 60s and 70s?
I’ve also heard recently which age group has the highest suicide rate in the US. Care to take a guess? Teens, preteens…? You’d be wrong.
45-55 year olds.
Did the hippie generation change the course of the country as they themselves said they intended? Clearly.
But in hindsight, was their impact on our American culture a positive one?
