Show Your Stripes! Photo Contest

Time for Stryper soldiers to unite and show some love for our favorite band!

Here’s the deal. Email me pictures of your best Stryper stuff. It could be anything, pics of your room that’s still plastered with pages from Metal Edge, hand-made or store-bought Stryper (or just Stryped) clothes, Stryper Bibles, yellow and black cars… you name it. Any Stryper paraphernalia or memorabilia works. The more stripes the better. Here’s my Stryperized jacket I’ve had for almost 20 years:

To be clear, the goal is to show off your stripes in an interesting or original way in your photo. So, a photo of a huge Stryper LP collection will be judged equally against, say, a picture of someone just holding a THWTD LP… but standing on top of the empire state building. Or of someone surfing with a Stryper shirt on in Hawaii. How/where you show your stripes is as important as what it is that’s shown. That makes your photo unique. As an example, here’s a picture of me touring Nikko, Japan, wearing my favorite Stryper shirt:

Consideration will be given for originality, photography skills are not important. If you have Stryper clothes, put em on and take a picture of yourself in a unique location. If you have Striped guitars, let’s see you rockin out. Of course, you can also just send regular pics of the products too.

The fun is in showing off your yellow and black. So have fun with it and take a picture of something cool, funny or unexpected.

One winner will receive all of the following totally FREE. My slightly used CDs of:

This contest is to show Stryper we love and support them, no matter what. So don your yellow and black and email away. The contest will end on or around Thanksgiving, or just whenever I feel like picking a winner.

How to enter: Simply email your photos to stryperweb@tx.rr.com. Be sure to read the rules below carefully before entering. All Stryper fans around the world are welcome to enter, but you will need to be able to send me your mailing address in English if you win. stryperweb.com is not responsible if your prize is lost or damaged during shipment.

Contest rules:

1. Anything offensive will instantly disqualify you.
2. Pics must be in jpeg format and under 4mb each.
3. By entering, you retain the copyright of your photos, but grant stryperweb.com royalty-free, unlimited and indefinite use of the image.
4. Include your name, SFN username and/or other screen-name you go by, and your email address. And let me know where the photo was taken. The winner will only be contacted by email.
5. You can email as many pictures as you want, but the total size of each email must be less than 4mb.
