Robotech feature film being written by Star Wars writer

It was confirmed at the Anime Expo that Warner Brothers has acquired the rights to produce a live action Robotech film with Tobey Maguire, and that Warner Brothers has hired Lawrence Kasdan as the screenwriter for the live action film. Kasdan was the screenwriter of Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Let’s just hope there’s no ewoks or stupid Jarjar charactor. Please WB, don’t screw this up.
